My experience as a celebrity is rather limited, but I can say that living in a universe that seems utterly beyond our grasp, with what celebrity do i look like and me fawning over the celebrities, and living in a universe that seems to be beyond our understanding, makes life all the more exciting.Ah, that sounds nice, doesn’t it?
Celebrities live in a world that makes ours look downright boring by comparison. Our longing and fantasizing about their fairy-taleliveslead us to look longingly at them and theirs, and worse, to try to imitate their designer clothes, botox enhancements, and even their synthetic ways of dressing. It’s a pretty silly approach, and when we realize when we’ve been misled, we just blame the media for the misinformation. In truth, that’s not true. Rather, the real celebrity spin master is our mind, which manipulates us into believing that celebrities are demigods and goddesses, and so, we must worship them deeply and insatiably.
What is it about celebrities that makes us so obsessed with their success and failure, their relationships? What are the reasons why they influence our spending habits, our self-images, and our own lives?Despite how much we hear about the gritty details of celebrities’ lives, we can’t seem to get enough of them about the question of what celebrity do i look like?Celebs often make contributions to raising awareness and money for real, challenging issues in the world, but those attempts are rare.Others grow out of their tantrums to make a positive impact on their communities, while some performers and creators utilize their visibility to draw attention to things that matter beyond mere trivia.
Sadly, many of the ones pursued with slavish admiration are too often spoiled, flashy fools with a lot of money to spend and a desperate desire for attention. What I’m saying is this: while most of us are busy following minute details of the lives of celebrities for the sake of being famous, there are other things we should be doing with our time, such as supporting organizations that do similar things. We are turning a blind eye to certain situations in the world that could greatly benefit from the attention we spend focusing on outrageous remarks made by this person or that friend, or hostname’s lavish parties.By tearing ourselves free of celebrity gossip for a while, we might be able to experience real improvements in what matters to us.
The world is maddening, and it seems as though the heat is being turned up on more levels than one! On so many fronts, we ought to be able to conserve our energies and channel them towards the important ones, rather than wasting them on useless ones.Celebrity worship takes significantly away from that energy, I assure you.
